Aproaching from the west side it's difficult for cyclists to avoid the fast moving traffic to gain access Beckenham High Street.

Crossing in has no dedicated pedestrian crossing - it Is a death trap waiting to happen. To cross you need to run and hope - how on earth this is not better manged outside a blind corner and surgery.

Getting out of Clock House Road on a cycle on to the roundabout to head south is dangerous with constant flow of traffic coming from the right.
Current shared pavement is too narrow for pedestrians, let alone cyclists as well. There is a lot of road/verge space for a proper segregated cycleway to connect into existing provision closer to Orpington
There would be space for a proper segregated cycle way between Chislehurst and Sidcup along Perry Street. Currently many inexperienced cyclists only feel confident on the pavement here.

Footbridge is really narrow and not enough room to stay physically distant. Maybe close a lane on the bridge (traffic light?) and allow pedestrians an additional pavement - might slow the speeding cars down too!

Very dangerous junction with with cyclists having very few alternative routes in area (and on existing cycleways). High traffic speeds mean pedestrians or dismounted cyclists also at risk
Existing cycle lanes could easily be upgraded to improve segregation from busy traffic as road has plenty of spare width and key route close to several schools. Current lanes stop/start and vanish entirely at junctions.

It is very dangerous for cyclists. The cycle part is the pavement that isn't clearly marked, it's not suitable and difficult to use as a cyclist. Being the major route towards London it should be a priority.
Why can't this junction be made more pedestrian friendly? You have to cross the road in stages, often made harder by all the vehicles driving through red traffic lights. Regularly.
Why is this stretch of road 40mph? After the Locksbottom Junction makes sense but not this small stretch. It just encourages higher speeds.
