Double yellow lines to stop parking in the cycle lane. Every house on this road has a drive so on street parking isn't needed

Busy junction that is difficult to negotiate on a bicycle without being squeezed by motorists. Lack of segregated cycle lanes on surrounding roads. Give cyclists (and pedestrians) a dedicated phase on lights to enable safer crossing.

Very busy and difficult with cars pulling in front to turn down Westmoreland rd. Also very smelly with exhaust fumes.

Cyclists squeezed by cars

Crofton Road needs segregated cycle lanes and speed cameras for vehicles.

Reduce traffic and get people on bikes

Numbers have more than doubled of cyclists using this road. It’s narrow so a cycle path would be difficult. But reduced speed limits and warning signs would make the road safer

Getting out of Clock House Road on a cycle on to the roundabout to head south is dangerous with constant flow of traffic coming from the right.

Current shared pavement is too narrow for pedestrians, let alone cyclists as well. There is a lot of road/verge space for a proper segregated cycleway to connect into existing provision closer to Orpington

There would be space for a proper segregated cycle way between Chislehurst and Sidcup along Perry Street. Currently many inexperienced cyclists only feel confident on the pavement here.

This busy junction would benefit from a CYCLOPS system of cycle paths/signals

Cycle racks for staff and children's bikes at school would be useful as access into school to lock up may be limited due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Very dangerous junction with with cyclists having very few alternative routes in area (and on existing cycleways). High traffic speeds mean pedestrians or dismounted cyclists also at risk

Existing cycle lanes could easily be upgraded to improve segregation from busy traffic as road has plenty of spare width and key route close to several schools. Current lanes stop/start and vanish entirely at junctions.

This road feels dangerous as a cyclist. bike lanes stop and start and cars aways cut cyclists up. it needs to be safer, continuous and better marked

It is very dangerous for cyclists. The cycle part is the pavement that isn't clearly marked, it's not suitable and difficult to use as a cyclist. Being the major route towards London it should be a priority.

Protected cycle lanes on both sides on approach to school with parking restrictions as appropriate

No cycle lanes in Penge at all. This needs to change

Why is this stretch of road 40mph? After the Locksbottom Junction makes sense but not this small stretch. It just encourages higher speeds.

Maybe the new cycle path could come from somewhere and then go somewhere . It's about 2m long at the moment!

Connect the underpass cycle route to “The Drive” to provide a traffic free route to Petts Wood eben combined with bridle paths in the woods at the other end of the Drive

Barriers at each end of this path limit use of what would otherwise be an easy quiet north south route as alternative to busy Cray Avenue.

Busy road. Cars travelling at speed

This road is a one way street and doesn’t allow for cyclists to go the opposite direction. This leads to cars travelling very fast and road rage when encountering cyclists.

Cycle way on penge high street to allow soeration for bikes up to the oark

2 people cannot go through if 1 has a push chair. As it's the way to a primary school.

The drive would make a really lovely cycleway through the park. Right now it’s very unclear whether cyclists (or pedestrians) are allowed.

With cars parked on both sides of the road, this is a difficult place to cycle with children as cars will often pass dangerously at speed. Consider restricting access and combining control measures with Wordsworth Road to create a quiet wa ... [more]

A very difficult junction for cycling due to sight lines and car speed/ use as rat run. mini roundabout may help

This is a very fast road and sifficult spot for cyclists and pedestrians to get across when travelling E-W

Cycle paths are marked on the road but cars park on the marked cycle paths and force cyclists out into the traffic. No parking should be allowed on cycle paths.

The footpath is only 70cm wide so needs widening. Incorporating a cycle path would make a pleasant route into Bromley avoiding the busy Sundridge Avenue. Children could also cycle to Scotts Park School

This is a blind corner since the house on corner of Park Hill extended his fence. It is a problem for all vehicles not just cyclists. VERY DANGEROUS URGENT ACTION NEEDED.

This is a really fast road I use this road to cycle with my son to school. Either slowing the traffic to 20 or putting in a cycle lane would help.

This is a great cycle / footpath, but its too narrow at the top for both groups. If a bit of land could be discussed with the adjacent school property it could be widened.

Roads are unmade and difficult to walk and cycle

The pedestrian crossing creates a consistent pinch point for cars and cyclists. Cars accelerate around the round about towards Bromley and then are confronted by a narrowing road and a crossing. Add a cyclist and its a significant pinch p ... [more]

Heading Southbound here is one of the most dangerous junctions for cyclists in the area - because traffic merges from 2 lanes to 1 as it goes around the blind bend on Church Road at speed. Needs 20mph limit and reducing to a single lane.

Move parking to one side of road or eliminate and add cycle route.

Safe cycling for school children and all

Safe cycle space for children going to Ravensbourne School

Need safe space for cycling and walking and to slow down traffic. This is an area where cars speed

The A224 needs a completely segregated and consistent cycle way. At present it is inconsistent and often unsegregated, shared between road and footpath.

Narrow road, i have had countless close passes dangerous overtakes, and drivers not caring

A dangerous junction and a proper cycle path needed from Bromley to Downham, to link up with the proposed new cycling lane.

Speeding drivers on road with no pavement leading to a school. Speed reduction e.g. chicane.

Wide pavement should be made shared use for cyclists travelling up the hill from the station to Albemarle Rd

Cycleway along the high street in both directions.

Improve this junction for cyclists. Cycle box needed. Yellow lines to stop parking close to the junction. Cycle filter lanes.

Permissive use of pavement for cycling up steep hill

Existing cycle lane is full of parked cars. A way needs to be found to accommodate cycling and parking so the lane is not blocked.

Car speeding and close passing of cyclist and walks on very narrow footpath. Either make oneway or Aggressive placement of speed bumps to slow traffic below 30 mph

The speed limit needs to be reduced on country lanes to help walkers, riders and cyclists be safe. Any speed limit needs to be enforced. It is very intimidating as it stands.

There needs to be help for cyclists round Elmers End. it is very dangerous at all times but especially if turning right in either direction.

A signed cycle route with Ravensbourne Rd. But cars use it as a rat run, many in excess of the 20mph speed limit. Some planters to block off the through route would make these roads feel much safer for cycling.

Create advanced stop lines at the junction just outside beckenham junction station

Add a segregated cycleway at least near the top of the hill. It is very unpleasant to cycle up here as the vehicles separate out into two lanes of traffic leaving nowhere for cyclists to go. This results in people cycling up the pavement.

Speeding on the avenue is frequent and a danger to cyclists and pedestrians. 20mph speed limit would improve the situation.
